Well Noah kind of talked his way out of that one but I’ll admit I’m slightly disappointed at how quickly it was resolved. She seemed to accept his explanation, which begs the question, why even have that as a cliffhanger? It fell flat for me but I admit I was still rooting for Noah and Olivia because they’re one of those couple where you can’t help but love them.
Olivia annoyed me more in this book because she placed the blame for everything at Noah’s feet. He’s apologised and tried his utmost best to sort it out with her but she’s stubborn, angry and bitter. It kind of really annoyed me because she’s no angel. She’s not perfect and yet she’s acting like the world is against her. Oh please, she needed to grow up and fast because the real world doesn’t stop for anger, it keeps on going. I guess I’m more cynical because I get the feeling she thinks the world is against her when that isn’t the case to be honest.
The book however was good, I’ll admit it was the weakest of all the books but I am glad I read it because it rounded off Noah and Olivia’s story. Despite it all, they do deserve to be happy so I’m glad that it did work out and I’m forever going to be Team Noah. Well rounded ending and looking forward to reading the spin off at some point. Sterling will be an interesting book!
