CM Stunich at her finest. This book is the bomb. Gritty, tragic, messed-up, brutal but with heart. According to CM this was her passion project, and it shows. Good words come from great imaginations, but great words they come from somewhere magical. This book oozes heart and passion. It is a bully book though the form of bullying portrayed is in flashbacks which gives a little distance to the cruelty that our FMC, Bernadette aka 'Bernie' received. Admittedly, I wince at those scenes, and often found myself wondering how she could ever forgive them. Having said that, these H.A.V.O.C boys are nothing if not redeemable. There's a special kind of quality to CM's writing that somehow makes you simultaneously hate and love these wicked bad boys. An incredible read.

So before I get to my review...I couldn't help but notice there's quite a few negative reviews for HAVOC. Nothing wrong with that - we all must rate how we see fit. But I did want to address a couple of the things that were stated the most.

1. HAVOC was too unrealistic. Okay. Yes, the characters are 17-18 years old. Yes, it's a little outside the realms of possibility that they're doing the things they're doing at that age. You know what else is unrealistic? Harry Potter, Outlander and Beauty And The Beast. It's fiction, folks. The author can create whatever kind of world she wants to. Let's just not forget that it IS fiction, not a biography.

2. So sick of "tatoos" and "ink" being mentioned. Yes, okay - it was overused a little. But some of the reviews made it out like it was mentioned in every sentence...it's definitely not.

3. There's too much sex. (Umm...that's a problem???) 😂 I believe there were 6 scenes. (Don't quote me, might've been 7, but pretty sure it was 6.) Personally, I would've liked to have seen more, but that's just me. 😉

4. It's too violent. Yes, it's a dark book. It's pretty violent and bloody. If you don't like dark books, please don't read this.

Okay, hopefully that addresses some of those negative reviews! Here's mine 😁

CM Stunich is an automatic one-click author for me. I love her writing style. I love how she gets inside the heads of her characters and brings them to life. I love how dark, gritty and real she gets about life, relationships and feelings.

Havoc is, as I mentioned, very dark. (Just how I like it!) It's well written, jam packed with action, and drags you, kicking and screaming, into its pages...keeping you there until the end, where you have to claw your way back into the real world.

I waited a year to start the series (until it was completed), and it was worth it. Diving straight into Chaos.

Wow what a book 📖 it completely destroyed me I was captivated and couldn’t put it down at all 😊 the sexual tension , chemistry, fighting, bitching , laughter and sleaziness ....at some parts I wanted to punch 🤛 someone , then I wanted to throw up , then I wanted to cry 😭 and then well I had to drink a glass of cold water 💦 to cool myself down lol 😂 absolutely brilliant book 📖 highly recommend it 10🌟from me 😊 ohh and those young men sound yummy 😋 but I want me an older version thou please 😆

What a violent, hot story! Prescott High is the last place you would want to send anyone. Run on drugs, bribery, corruption, violence and sex it's amazing pupils actually turn up for class. The two other local schools are all gunning for Each other and try to even the score whenever they are out of school, as there is one rule everyone abides by; no violence in school grounds.

Bernadette has lived through the pain, torture and humiliation of the HAVOC boys. They will do anything for anyone as long as you have means to pay them. Now it's she who needs their services. She has a revenge list and she wants each person in her list to suffer.

Bernadette was a victim of the havoc boys but now she's one of them and she's got her sights set on revenge!

There's a lot of unanswered questions throughout this book along with flashbacks but there's still so much missing from the past.

Bernadette has history with all the boys and the only one I can't put my finger on is Oscar, does he hate her? What's their past? What comes next?
