J'ai adoré ce livre, je le préfère a Terms and Conditions, j'ai vraiment aimé cette romance, un fin bien comme on les aime, je recommande !

3,5/4 ⭐️This book was so hyped up on tiktok and I was so excited to read it but I got disappointed. It was cute and I enjoyed reading it but it wasn’t incredible. The characters were cringy, no chemistry between the girl/boy and boring. Very predictable and VERY basic, nothing special about it but still cute sometimes.

The book was so cute and passionate. If your looking for butterflies this is the one. Def would recommend it to a hopeless romantic

I love both of the characters since the beginning . Of course I loved Zahra more because of how altruistic she is and kinda sound like a model to follow.

Trope: Workplace & billionaire romance

The first thing I want to say is Lauren took me to Disney Land and I live in France, and I never went to Disney I felt like a little kid when the characters went into the park do not judge the kid in me, please!

The Fine Print in the second series from Lauren Asher and a totally different Trope from the sport serie she gave us. She masters the first book of this new series. From my perspective, this book is great, I laughed a lot, I was bursting into laughter in the middle of the night, and now people think I’m crazy. I had a good moment with this book.

There are two povs, Zhara our female character, her family, and her work in Dreamland. Thanks to her best friend she got the job she dreamed to do. She is fearless sometimes bold and funny. She basically owns all my laughing moments. She had a tough moment in her life but she’s a strong female character and I appreciate her.

The male character is Rowan, is the director of Dreamland. I wanted to split his head in two at the beginning he’s the opposite of Zhara a total ass**** the man is a grumpy cat but I love him because we’ll see his evolution and we know why he is like that, because deep inside he’s a softy and overprotective man.

Their relationship will make you laugh because Rowan will fall for Zhara but she doesn’t know how to trust and live without being controlling. Still, I wanted a scene with Lance, this cheater, and thief, seriously a little punch in the face, and the other girl's mother need to be slapped.

I can’t wait to read Declan and Cal books, even if Cal is funny I can feel a deep and hurtful story from him and Declan already got the grail but he can’t see it even Rowan saw It.
I hope you like and appreciate the characters like me.

Once again, here I am, writing a review about a book I’ve seen everywhere on bookstagram. The Fine Print is about Rowan, a wealthy man born into a family in the entertainment business (theme parks, production companies, hotels…). To guarantee his job and his share in the family business, Rowan has to come up with a plan to modernize the theme park and resolve its issues, all in six months. This is when Zahra comes in. After years of working as a makeup artist in Dreamland, she finally applies (while drunk) for a creator position, making her closer to Rowan… You’ve guessed it, this novel is a workplace romance mixed with the grumpy-sunshine trope. Well, this book was disappointing. I didn’t like the characters nor their couple and especially not the stereotype of the morally grey characters who have “suffered” but finally become “good”. I also wasn’t convinced by the whole “wealthy” aspect of the book. I also found it annoying that … got a happily ever after when he created problems on his own before resolving everything in about twenty pages. It felt like the last third of the book was just written to make the novel longer. This might be a detail but I also didn’t like the mention of Pride and Prejudice in the novel. It felt like the differences between the books, especially concerning the quality of the writing, didn’t make them comparable or easy to connect. Maybe it’s just me but it just felt wrong to mention Pride and Prejudice in such a novel. to conclude, nothing was necessarily bad in the novel, I was just not convinced by the story, and the book was just not to my taste.

Honestly, I tried to read it after reading all of the great reviews. But I'm going to be honest, if you like billionare romances, men in fancy suits and dominating men, this one's not for you. I like all of those. I have previously read Anna huang's series, twisted, and LOVED it! As well as king of wrath. And I was expecting the same from this with all of the hype.

But unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed! I found it was very badly written, and I couldn't fall in love with the male character...the female mc annoyed me. I dont reccomend this book if you are a person who reads a lot and enjoys good writing. But if you're a beginner and don't want a story too harsh, it's alright.

I’ve never really read a book with the grumpy/sunshine trope because it never really appealed to me but as a major fan of Lauren Asher, I wanted to give The Fine Print a go.

To say this book was good is an understatement. It’s an easy read that will leave you wanting more - specifically Declan’s and Cal’s stories. The characters of Rowan and Zahra are relatable and believable; they’re so well written that you can feel their pain and their happiness. Lauren’s writing makes you smile and laugh but also she’d a few tears at some points.

I’ve rated this book 4/5 stars; I haven’t given it the full five stars only because rating a book 5 stars is rare for me.

If you love easy banter, lots of chemistry, a fair amount of steam, grumpy/sunshine characters and workplace romance, this book is for you.

It was okay as far as romances go. I don’t really like the poor girl/rich guy trope but I knew what I was getting into.

Spoilers below!!!
What bothered me was the practically insta-lust between the two. Like the first time he sees her, he’s already ready to go.
I know it was part of the character for Rowan to be an a-hole but I would have like Zahra to tell him off for all the times he was awful to her. There’s broody, morally grey and mean characters and then there’s plain humiliating and insulting, and for me Rowan was more of the latter.
And don’t get me started with the pregnancy in the epilogue, she’s 26 for crying out loud.

I however appreciate that these are more personal preferences than constructive criticism so I tried to be fair with my rating.

We finally have a true winner in 'a romantic comedy from 00-s' category.
We have an interesting plot twist from grandfather than in order to receive our part of family business we need to do certain things (make an improvement in the park or find a wife or something else). And no surprise that Rowan is not amused by his task and without a doubt he will rethink al his past choices and decisions from childhood. He lost host desire to be part of the dreamland business long time ago, and now he is planning to do his part and leave the park. So imagine his irritation when girl who is definitely not falling in his strict, rule based world becomes the center of his attention and she is a Creator needed for his task?
And fun dance of love-denial-love-betrayal-love is in full swing.
I bet you can predict all ‘lies and pains’ which can exist in this situation, when we have a grumpy man with traumatic childhood and a woman who is a sunshine, but even with all this predictability this story was hilarious and cute and fun to read.
So i can not and will not complain about plot and characters, cause I genuinely enjoyed this book (i read it in 1 day) and will gladly continue with the series.
