My words are never going to justice to how this book made me feel. After reading the two previous books in the series ( Till and Flint's stories ) I knew Quarry's was going to be something special, let me tell you it didn't disappoint.
This book made me feel, made me feel heartbreak, grief, loss, friendship, loyalty, family, and ultimately left me with a feeling of love. This book has imprinted it's way into my heart leaving a mark I'll never forget, it going to be a hard book to get over.
Quarry Page is the youngest brother of the three Page brothers, he was always destined to follow into his big brother's footsteps and become a professional boxer. Alongside his fight to box is the fight to save his hearing like his older brother Quarry suffers from the same hearing condition that robbed Till of his hearing it's just a matter of time before he is in silence too. After an horrific childhood Liv now lives with her father and stepmother; Leo is head of security for Slate at On a The Ropes where the Page brothers train, at the age of twelve Liv 'bumps' into Quarry and there begins a lifetime of Liv loving Quarry Page, Every. Single.Day. We travel through the years with Liv and Quarry, through the highs and the lows in this friends to lovers book. Which is told from dual POV
Saying I enjoyed this book no where near describes how this book made me feel, I lived every emotion that Quarry and Liv experienced I laughed, cried, I took a sharp intake of breath and I fell in love right along side them.
I loved being a part of Quarry growing up into a man, but not just any man a man he could be proud of. I loved Liv's sassy ness and attitude with Quarry, he may be a pro boxer but she stood up to him plenty. I loved the playfulness and easy banter that made me chuckle, I basically LOVED this book.
Apart from the fact that this marks the end of the Page Brothers story and I'm very sad to see them go ! A highly recommended book.

I have been waiting for this book for a while. Aly is one of those authors I adore and know I am going to love any book of hers I read.
Quarry's book was always going to be emotional for me as it touches on deafness and I'm partially deaf myself. I have to admit I laughed when Liv didn't believe that he was deaf due to the fact that he could hear her. Hearing aids! Ha-ha but this story is about Quarry and Liv learning to cope with the loss of their dear friend Mia.
Quarry has a temper and not a temper which means he’d hurt anyone he loves but rather he would hurt anyone if they touched his family or his Liv. Quarry is trying to get a title fight and this book is his journey. Slowly along the way he realises that Liv is his. That she owns his heart and that he owns hers.
There are moments in this story where I'm crying because their love is just beyond amazing. They love each other but they're stubborn. I've wanted to knock some sense into them both.
There is a foe in this book who really tries to mess things up for them both but I don't want to elaborate & spoil this book but seriously I loved it.
The ending of this book and the Page boys is bittersweet as its over but makes me smile because their journey from book one to book 3 is life changing and I am so glad to have been there along the way.
My top read of January!!

I have loved Quarry since the very beginning of this series, he has always held my interest and Fighting Solitude gives us his story, from the potty mouthed ten year old to the honourable man he becomes, his unwavering loyalty to his family, and his love for the two very important women that made an impact on his life.
"Everyone knew I was trouble. I had a good heart, but I kept it buried under layers of attitude and a million curse words."
Liv and Quarry have been best friends since they were 10, they have the kind of connection that most people can only dream of, they get each other and will always have each others backs. Growing up they always knew that they had a special bond, but when Q betrays the trust of a teenage Liv, their paths take an unexpected turn and it seems that fate has decided that their future together is not quite ready to begin....yet.
This was an epic journey of love and friendship which faced many hurdles but ultimately there is no doubt that Q and Liv were made for each other, and that the devastating events that occurred when they both lost a loved one -Quarry's first girlfriend and Liv's best friend Mia - was set to test them and bring them even closer than before.
I always worry in books like these, that the heroine will always be competing with the lost love, but this book proves that humans have the capacity to love big and hard, and love multiple times, just in different ways. Mia left a legacy in that she brought two people who were very special to her, together like they were always meant to be.
"Liv James was absolutely everything to me. Well, almost. She wasn’t mine. Yet."
This book brought out a lot of emotions in me, and at times I was sitting there with a huge knot in my chest because my heart absolutely ached for these characters so much, I felt everything that I know the author intended me to feel. I adored how much these two were devoted to each other, and let me tell you that the wait for them to finally realise that their feelings were more than just best friends was so worth it.
Without a doubt this whole series is on my list of all time favourites, it was such an absolute pleasure to read, with the faultless writing and the perfectly exhilarating story, to the deep emotional connection that is so easy to make with the characters, there is nothing that I can find issue with.
Top marks for creating an epic love story that I will always remember and hold dear.
"Every. Single. Day."
Fighting Solitude is the last in the series, each of which follow a different brother. Told in dual POV

This was pure perfection, going back to how it all started and working forward, seeing them both grow and mature, how their friendship stuck fast despite their childhood separation, how they slowly grew into their change in relationship. I was also blown away at how AM handled the Mia situation, again this was done to perfection.
Quarry is the perfect hero (geez I'm wearing perfect out here), I dare anyone not to fall for him hook, line and sinker.
This is one hell of a mind-blowing, gorgeous read to close out the series, a series that will be one of my all time favourites. Aly Martinez you knocked this one out of the stratosphere and I bow down to you.
