Passionnée par tous les genres littéraires, J.S. « Jan » Scott préfère par-dessus tout écrire des romans sentimentaux, des histoires d’amour torrides, contemporaines ou paranormales, dont le héros est généralement un mâle alpha. Certains figurent d’ailleurs parmi les meilleures ventes recensées par le New York Times et USA Today. Ses récits connaissent toujours un heureux dénouement, parce que Jan ne peut tout simplement pas écrire autrement !

Elle vit dans le magnifique décor des montagnes Rocheuses avec son mari et deux bergers allemands trop gâtés.

Aiden & Skye were a couple totally besotted with one another , Aiden was a fisherman who used to go on long fishing trips & Skye who was the best friend of his sister Jade & was a few years younger than him had just graduated . The couple were inseparable when Aiden announces that he’s to go on one of his long fishing trips , not relishing being apart from her lover Skye understood that he needed the money to support his family . Whilst away Skye discovers she is pregnant with his child , when she tells her mother she not pleased but there again her mother has always been a total fruit loop gives her the option of getting married to someone whose in her church or being thrown out if her home . Unable to contact Aiden Skye really she has no option but marry Marco but before she goes she leaves Aiden a letter which sadly he never gets . Marco turns out to be the Mafia that was using the so called church as a place to traffic people , drug smuggling and other questionable mafia activities . Marco is very much older than Skye but she comes to realise very quickly that he wants nothing to do with her child he just wanted her as a trophy wife , soon though he got bored with her and then he just abuses her in the most horrific way . When she finally gets away ( I won’t say how as it is explained in the book ) , the newly divorced Skye and daughter Maya made their way back home where as her mother had passed away she inherited the cafe owned by her mother . Skye tries her best to avoid Aiden but then their paths have to cross once more when Skye & Maya are to be in Jades wedding . A lot has changed in the Sinclair family whilst she was away , Aiden and his family’s fortunes have changed dramatically they have become billionaires due to their late father, who was a bigamist , not only did they inherit money they also inherited family they didn’t know existed . As Aiden never had the letter that Skye left before she went away there was a lot of resentment not only just on his side but on both sides . After being enlightened they both soon became an item once more, he was overjoyed to learn that he had an adorable daughter and they moved in with him . With all the abuse that Skye endured at the hands of her Ex can these two find their HEA, or will a mistake in a lab end their happiness I think you can guess what happens 😉 😍 . Looking forward now to Seth’s story .

Jan you have done it again. An absolutely fab read from beginning to end.

Aiden and Skye's second chance romance story was beautiful. The journey they both struggled through and came out of better than before.

After a decade of being apart their chemistry is still alive and kicking. However, trust is hard to come by when you have been knocked down so many times. To remain hopeful when the light at the end of the tunnel is dimming. This story gives you hope and power to keep going on and what may seem impossible can really be possible.

Both Aiden and Skye are amazing people you just love including Maya. (Not going to spoil to say who she is lol)

Especially Aiden. He's a strong loving guy who is loyal to the core, but is always there when you need him. It was lovely to see how his younger siblings look up to him.

I took my time reading this because there was so much to take in. Overall if I could I would give it more than 5stars. Thank you again for a fantastic read. Can't wait for the next one.

Lovers from a young age, Skye and Aiden have the idyllic adult romance. Their love seems invincible and after consummating that love all seem to be like a dream. Then one day the bubble bursts and Aiden has to go away so sadly everything changes.
Skye is left devastated and heartbroken but something of that love remains, something that gives Skye the strength and purpose to carry on. Many years pass and suddenly Skye comes face to face with the man she swore to forget. What will Aiden do when he realises Skye has been keeping something very important from him, something that will irrevocably change his life and which ultimately force them to be together one more time.
In perfect JS Scott fashion, this story, the second in The Accidental Billionaires, was written with plenty of passion and a beautiful and masterful storyline, Great dialogue and content.
THIS WILL BE ANOTHER BESTSELLER FOR SURE!

These books will always be an ideal companion to all romance readers as they transport you to that fantasy world where in spite of trials and tribulations the characters will always get their happily ever after.

Interestingly we have waited quite a while for this second story in The Accidental Billionaires Series but it is worth the agonising wait.

At eighteen Skye Weston had a Summer romance with twenty four year old Aiden Sinclair. But while he is away on a two months commercial fishing trip she finds out that she is pregnant. And to avoid shame and scandal her religious mother forces her to marry a much older man and move away from Citrus Beach, California.

Nine years later Skye and Aiden meet up at her friends celebratory dinner. He is now a billionaire and part of a big rich Sinclair family. But he wants to know why she did not wait for him to come back from his fishing trip. And he has to be told that he has eight year daughter.

Turns out, Skye's ex-husband belonged to a crime family and treated her cruelly and ignored her daughter. Fear kept her alive. So when they were all imprisoned and following the death of her mother she was able to come back to Citrus Beach to live and take ownership of the family cafe. What reason did Skye give give Aiden for moving away? How did Aiden react to this news about his daughter? READ and FIND out yourself.

I love second chance romances and this story is easily one of my top ten. The story is engaging from the prologue. Then you read the first paragraph of chapter one and you are immediatly drawn in as you realise something monumental must have happened! I loved it! It got me hooked from that point. Its a lovely read, the cosy small town setting and the emphasis on family really comes out in the storytelling. I loved the pace, it was angsty in some parts that made me desperate to find out what had happened to seperate these two characters who clearly were meant to be together! the misunderstandings between Aiden and Skye were heart wrenching in their consequences and I was desperate for them to get their happy ending! I loved how fierce Skye was, how determined she was to make a good life for her and her daughter. As we learn more and more about her life in the intervening 10 years the more I admired her resiliance and determination.
Aiden was a wonderful character, so caring and loving. It was clear his family meant the world to him. He had no resentment at all over all the sacrifices he had made over the years to keep his siblings. I loved how the characters were rational beings and TALKED so that the misunderstandings( that were not of their own doing) could be addressed early on. Often times I find authors drag on the misunderstandings and it never feels realistic to me, and I find the stories become unecessarily long . J S.Scott does a wonderful job of balancing conflict between characters but also resolving things in a natural way so the story flows smoothy. She has written a beautiful character led story that has left me searching for her backlist of books as I have to go read them all now! Highly reccommend this 5 star read.
