Another good j s Scott nice to catch up a bit on some of the other Sinclair siblings. Layla being depressed Jacob helping her, owen being jealous… all comes good in the end

I would recommend this book to anyone who has read the previous books in this series, and needs to see it through. Owen and Layla’s story did not disappoint. Every girl needs a love story like this.

I knew when I finished reading Noah an Andie's story I had to read Owen's story. Owen Sinclair is the gorgeous, wealthy green eyed adorable, caring younger brother of Noah, Seth, Aiden and the twins Jade and Brooke. Did I say that he is Dr. Owen Sinclair. Owen bought the clinic of a retiring doctor in Citrus Beach ⛱️ where he grew up. Layla Caine is Owen and Andie's best friend at least she was until the second half of their Senior year. Owen and Andie went across country to Boston to go to school and Layla stayed in California. Layla wants nothing to do with Owen and he has no idea why and she won't tell him. Eventually he learns her secret and 💕 love blossoms. I liked that Jaxton Montgomery was in this story, because he definitely made Owen jealous. I believe that this was the best of series. I have read so many of Jan's 📚📖. I read all of the East coast Sinclairs. Vi definitely like that Evan is spoken so highly of because when he first was introduced in the East coast Sinclairs story I didn't like him so much. Owen Sinclair and Layla Caine grew up poor in Citrus Beach. Now when the story begins Owen is the most eligible bachelor in Citrus Beach. Owen Sinclair is gorgeous on the outside but he is even more beautiful on the inside. He changed his clinic to one where those who could not afford to go to a clinic could. He was helped to bring his vision to life with the help of his brother in law Eli Stone and his sister Jade and all of his brothers. I loved reading this book 📚📖 from beginning to end and I give it five ⭐ Stars. I recommend Endeared and encourage you to purchase it and let J.S. Scott show you why she is one of my favorite authors.

A wonderful end to an amazing series of books! Owen and Layla are perfect for each othe! Jan, your words bring the characters to life and I imagine them in my mind like a movie! I laugh and cry right along with them!

I rolled my eyes as I saw the vehicle come into sight. “You could have saved some energy for later. I can walk.” “I thought I was saving your energy for later,” he said roughly. My heart started to flutter. “Planning a long night?” I squeaked. “It’s Friday,” he reminded me in a very wicked tone. “When is it ever a short night?” No clinic tomorrow. “Okay, then, hurry,” I told him. He chuckled as he opened the passenger door and gently put me into the seat of the vehicle. “No hurrying,” he said, his voice warm. “You’re going to marry me in February. We have forever now, Layla.” I sighed as he kissed me, one of those tender-but-passionate kisses that made my toes curl. As he settled into the driver’s seat, I said casually, “It’s a no underwear day.” Before the light in the car dimmed, I saw the muscle in his jaw twitch, and his features harden with anticipation. We have forever, but why not start forever just as fast as we can. “I’m not going to speed, but I’ll take every shortcut I know,” he said in a raspy, turned-on voice that I knew very, very well. I smiled as he started the engine, put the car in gear, and made it back home in record time without speeding . . . much. Neither one of us gave the park we’d just left a second thought. We raced into the house laughing, took another step into our future, and let our forever begin.

Endeared is one of the best books I've read in a while. I have loved J.S. Scott's Billionaire Series from the first book and each can be read as a stand-alone, but I can honestly say Owen and Layla's story has touched me the most. It's a Second Chance romance that started with a decade of Hurt that slowly morphs into a story of Heart and Humor. Layla has had a hard life, but the most crushing event in her life was the devastating betrayal by her best friend Owen. A betrayal that has haunted her for a decade now, so the last thing she wants is to be working with him now at the clinic she loves. Owen is the new Doctor in town and just happens to also be part of the West Coast Sinclair Family that are newly minted Billionaires. He's returned home and has bought out the local medical clinic where his one time best friend Layla works as a Nurse Practitioner - too bad she still hates him for some unknown reason. He's wondered for the last decade what he did to turn Layla against him. After a lifetime of struggling to get the things he wants, Owen is no less persistent in wanting to get the answers to what happened to his friendship withLayla. Does he dare hope for more with Layla? Can Layla risk her Heart again when she realizes that Owen didn't betray her after all? It's hard for me to NOT love a JS Scott book, and well, guess what, I LOVE this one as well. There is a real relationship, character development, angst, some humor, always an animal (in this one there is a gassy, but lovable bulldog) and always a happy ending.

I loved Owen Sinclair, the youngest of the Accidental Billionaires; he has never been overly featured in any of the 4 preceding books, but always a token appearance or mention. Owen has been focused on his school and medical career since he was a HS student. Even dealing with his best-friends (Andi, who is now his sister-in-law) cancer during college in Boston, he was never deterred from his path.

Owen returns to California and his family, he has bought an established medical practice and guess who is part of the medical staff? The other part of his HS friend trio, Layla Caine. Although Owen is trying to figure out why Layla abruptly stopped their friendship right before HS graduation.

Working in the clinic everyday, Owen is hoping to re-establish his friendship with Layla or at least wear down her hostility. Slowly, but surely, Owen wears Layla down and when she finally discloses the reason for the hostility, a huge misunderstanding is cleared up and Owen is hoping to move forward into a 'relationship' with Layla.

Obstacles are always in the way, and as a time-defined, trial relationship draws to a close, will they have what it takes to continue into a real relationship.

There is a huge twist that I never saw coming, but it was SO GOOD and insightful into Layla's character and I think it lays the groundwork for Jaxson Montgomery's story to follow.

Endeared was the fifth and final book in the Accidental Billionaires series by JS Scott.

Owen was the youngest Sinclair sibling. Although we saw glimpses of him previously he wasn’t around for most of the series as he was away finishing up medical school and his residency. He returned home in the previous book and purchased a retiring doctor’s practice.

Layla was Andie’s (book four) best friend. Layla and Owen had also been best friends in high school but it was the quintessential “grew apart because of a misunderstanding” theme. They hadn’t seen each other for a decade and Andie held a grudge with Owen being clueless. Unfortunately she was the nurse practitioner for the practice that Owen bought and they worked closely together.

I enjoyed both characters. I’m not a fan of secret grudges when things aren’t talked out so the theme wasn’t my favorite (personal opinion only) but it was well written and once we got passed the misunderstanding, the relationship progressed. I enjoyed Owen the most. He had a huge heart and although he had aloha tendencies, he was a teddy bear at heart.

Additionally, Scott entwined the Montgomery’s (Riley’s siblings, book three, Enamored) as part of a bridge for the next installment of Scott’s Billionaire Obsession series. It was creative and enticing.

All in all, it was a quick and enjoyable read and I can’t wait for more from Scott.
