In this book, we follow Ashley who fights to finish her study and to become a cardiologist. She has a son . All the story and the twists surprised me and I enjoyed it a lot.

Great book with so many twists and turns. Really enjoyed all the characters and plot. This is the second book I have read from this author, both sexy and steamy and unpredictable. well worth a read, you may need a cold shower after!!

Overall, the story was nice with interesting twists and I really liked the two characters and how they worked around their situation. However as French speaker I feel deeply insulted by the pretense fluency in French of the two main characters. The French sentences make absolutely no sense, even google trad would have made a better job. It's as if the author did that on purpose. Does she hate French language so much that she had to butcher it like that? Writing such a good story and being so lazy that you don't even take the time to double check the translation of your sentences in another language and try to make it look like fluent French is absolutely unbelievable and insulting not only for French speaker but also for those would are trying to learn the language and would pick up after the French sentences in this book.

Buy this book! Seriously, forget about ordering your next skinny caramel latte, use your pennies wisely and treat yourself to some Dr Love instead! This book has everything; love, anger, disappointment, bad decisions and plenty of wow moments. It is a standalone within a series and you don't have to have read the others before this to be able to follow it fully. What can I say about Cameron Stanton? He's sexy, stubborn, focused, fiery, with a heart of gold and a loyalty many would admire and I LOVE him greatly. Now, for Ashley Tucker, I can imagine her as one of my friends. She can also be stubborn and feisty but my goodness she would do anything for the people she loves. She hasn't had it easy and it's made her tough, but only on the exterior. Inside she is a rabbit caught in the headlights. She's fun, she's loveable and relatable. I'm not going to divulge any of the story but I want you to know that this read will take you on a journey, one that will stay with you long after you have finished. There are several times you won't believe what you're reading and several times you will swoon and you won't be able to leave these characters. Even when I wasn't reading I was thinking about them; at work, watching the TV, cooking the dinner. I was thinking about them like they were real! It doesn't help that TL is the master of chapter cliffhangers!! Although I mentioned cliffhangers, there isn't one at the end of this, it's all tied up nicely. Happy reading, go on, you know you want to!!

Wow! This book is hot. Ashley and Cameron, both visiting Vegas. Some guy is hitting on Ashley, won't take no for answer, she grabs a passing guy and say he is who she was waiting for, Cameron plays along, kisses her sends the man packing and pulls her over to meet his friends, says her name is Blossom. After several cocktails they end up together in his room, where they enjoy a good night with not much sleep. They never got around to exchanging names, she asks what he does for a living he says a mechanic, so she says she works in an ice cream shop. She tells him she from New York, he says he's from Texas, originally Australia. Next day she's heading back to her room and flying home, he tried to get her to stay another night. He takes her phone number, says he's gonna come to New York the following week end and will call her.
5 yrs later Ashley and her son arrive in LA, she has done med school now has a yr as an intern to a surgeon, her friend is coming to stay stay too. Now she just needs a 2nd p/t job to help pay the bills. Fantastic read, you only need to read this, but there is a 2nd book Dr Stantons The Epilogue, so I got that too. Was unsure whether to buy this as not my usual style of book but very good, glad I did

I enjoyed it but found that they (the brothers) blew it incredibly out of proportion. Didn’t particularly like the Dr after that just seemed unredeemable.

*SPOILER*
There were many things that led to her being called a bad mother that were incredibly unrealistic and highly unlikely for it to happen. Granted this is fiction but this was an exaggeration. Also feel like maybe the overdose could have been explored more by either one of them, to find out what really happened. Seems again unlikely that he would one day just wake up and believe her.

Also the ending was completely unnecessary.

Whilst on a bachelorette party in Vegas, Ashley Taylor keeps getting harassed by a drunk stranger, so she grabs the first gush she finds and tells the drunk man that he’s her husband. Only when she looks up at the guy she now named her husband, all she sees is tall, dark and handsome. They have an instant connection from the moment they like eyes and he has his mind set on scoring this 10 out of 10. And trust me, he gets everything he wants.

There night ends up being so incredible that he gets her number so that they can see each other again because they just can’t seem to let the other go. But before he can even text her to find out her name, he loses his phone and most importantly; his mystery girls number.

5 years later, Ashley moves from new York to Los Angeles with her 4 year old, Owen, to be an intern for a cardiologist named Dr Stanton. With her son and best friend settled into there new home and a job that pays for everything they need, she turns up for her first day, of her last intern year. But who shows up to be her new boss? Mr Vegas, the guy that never called.

As soon as they meet they have and instant connection but they don’t recognise that yet. Cameron is the definition of a man in this especially the when their in Vegas because he has a one track mind and all he wants to do is get her back to his hotel room. I love how consumed they are in each other on that one night, they don’t even tell each other there names!

When they meet 5 years later, they recognise each other immediately proving the connection between them. It’s like the world is trying to keep them apart but they always find a way back to one another. Owen is the cutest thing ever and you can definitely tell who his dad is because they are so similar.

Another good one from T L Swan. I really enjoyed her Miles Brothers series, and if you like them you'll like this.

I couldn't put this down, it made me cry and was full of angst, and just kept on hotting you with stuff. I know that's what you're getting with these and I know the male character is going to be completely overbearing and that's kind of what it is - in the real world I'd run a mile! Because I know what I'm getting I'm willing to accept it as is, but, it did feel like he actually went to far in this book and what happened was unforgivable. I felt the same way in The Stopover and The Cassanova, but still liked the books, so cognitive dissonance for the win!

If you like the overbearing man, high angst love story then this is for you, if you don't then you'll hate it.
