Devil is now in my Jordan Marie Biker top 3. I'm putting him up there with my favourites Dancer and Beast. He completes my Trio, holding a special place in my heart forever.

Jordan never ever disappoints me with her Bikers. These guys always evoke such intense feelings and leave me an emotional mess after. To me, that's a job well done.

I absolutely loved the first meeting between Devil and Torrent it couldn't of been any more perfect, it had me laughing my Ass off. It was like the set up to a bad joke a Biker and a Nun walk into a ?...... well you get the idea.
As first meetings go this one gets a thumbs up from me it was unforgettable.

What can I say about Devil, when he says they call him Devil for a reason he wasn't lying. He's all male very sexual in nature with a wicked streak. He loves women but doesn't make false promises. He's a great guy to have on your side because he's fiercely loyal. Yes he drove me crazy at times and I wanted to kick him in the nuts, but he got under my skin and stayed there.

Devils story didn't go the way I thought it would if I'm honest. It shocked the hell out of me, my heart was literally in my mouth. I was a nervous wreck at times.
However I'm happy Jordan chose this path for Devil because it's the reason he's now in my top 3.

Torrent is a girl you just know is hiding secrets. I wasn't keen on her at first, the way she was with Devil kind of annoyed me.
But when it mattered she came through and redeemed herself. She actually surprised me and I grew to like her more than I thought I would. I actually love these two together.

This book had me hooked straight away. I'm a huge fan of MC reads and this is going to be a fantastic spin off series from The Savage Brothers. It's gritty, brutal, full of danger and seduces you the way the MC world should.
It's not for the faint hearted but the best things never are.

I used to really enjoy Jordan Marie's books, I happily paid for all the books in her Devils Blaze MC series and her Savage Brother's series. But now she is producing tedious stories, with mind numbingly boring and repetitive text, mistakes in spelling and grammar and inconsistencies with the plot and the characters. Also apart form a little foreplay, all the sex scenes are skipped.

This story was beyond boring and Devil is not the same guy we were introduced to in Beast and Beauty's books. The author has changed him to make him stupid, like deathly stupid. He gets hurt badly because he leaves Tor's house on another biker clubs property, without protection, even saying himself how dangerous and stupid he is because he knows Wolf will attack him. Yet he still walks straight into Wolf's trap. Grr...

Tor overhears Wolf's plans to take out Devil and she wonders if she should warm Devil, Really? Do you really need to wonder about warning him and then she doesn't! Ludicrous plot problems like that ruined this for me. Devil is not even slightly biker-ish and Torrent is annoying with all her back and forth indecisiveness. Even the scene when they get together is agitating to read because of her on and off again, yes, no, whining. Not heat! No passion!

We don't get to find out what the letter in the desk. It felt more like the author forgot about the letter. Other things irked me, Dodger saying he doesn't know how long he was knocked out for, right after the other guy told him it was minutes, so.. he does know. Torrent's eyes are supposedly swollen so bad she says she can't see well, yet she claims to be able to see the tears in her father's eyes from several feet away. Just not good.

Not by favourite book by far.

Started off pretty good and I was excited to read it.
All of a sudden it went boring, the indecisive of Torrent got annoying fast. Devil i hated, he was plain stupid through out most of the book and not acting how you would expect a biker in a book with this plot to act. Going into a trap knowing full well you are going into a trap? Unrealistic and I dont get why this was written in? It was weird.

I actually skipped about 3 chapters towards the end just to see how it ends and so I could finish it already.

Book felt rushed and was setting scenarios up for future books and not actually focusing on the characters enough in this one. Not much character development at all.

Even at the end when the HEA happened it was rushed, no spark, nothing to pull you in.
It's sad to say but this has put me off of JM's books.
A no from me.

Jordan Marie has written some great books, especially MC ones in a certain style. This story about Devil (Logan) and Angel (the unusually named Torrent) sets out straight away as a love at first sight story. It has an intriguing premise to start with and it's interesting. The middle of the book though gets a teensy bit boring and I wanted to shake Torrent -in fact both of them - for their choices.
However it does pick up and eventually gets fairly gruesome but the author deals with it subtly. The MC side picks up as well.
So, love at first sight, romance, a heroine pulled in different directions, violence and other various staples of this genre. What more could anyone one want?
Oddly there were a couple of typos, quite unusual but it didn't detract from the story.
Another good book from a really good author. I can't wait for Diesel, the next instalment of the series.
Four and a half stars.

Devils book was one i was so longing to read, and i was not disapointed his story was incredable, his love for Torrent was amazing, The author Jordan Marie is a fantastic writer, and i have loved all her books, Devil was a man who would do anything to protect and care for Torrent, there were parts in the book were you cryed, and times when you would laugh, i would recomend this book to everyone, this author is the best. And such a great HEA.
