Oh my God, please get to work immediately on the next one. I can't stress enough how much I love these books.

I wish Gutch was in it a little bit more and christ on a bike, who the hell is mother Dawn? Is it Ratul? Is he dead. As Joe Biden says, C'mon man.

Excellent third installment of the series, characters are established but still evolving. Larry's knowledge of tactics comes through in the pitched battle scenes and surprises all over the place. Larry Correia has done it again 👍

Book 3 maintains the momentum of the previous entries. This is a rich world and it seems that a calamity happened long in the past and the present are only in hold of fragments. The story was great. Not only is Ashok on the run but he's hunted by his best friend. The duel between these 2 was incredible and tragic. That is what I like about Larry Correia's storytelling, even the opposition to the mc and hero act in a believable fashion and have motivations that are internally consistent to their worldview. I'd like to learn how the swords and other artifacts work, are they ai controlled tech or do they have a magic system? I'm looking forward to book 4.

Chose this rating because even though it was the shortest by far it felt like the longest. Author added incrementally to the story arc and is obviously planning more than a trilogy . Recommend for Larry Correia fans. I will wait to buy anymore of this series to see how long the author plans on writing it.
