I can't say how many times over the years i've the Bargainer. I am still swept away by this story, over and over again. This is one is part of my true favorite. One that has been with me for the past years and will be for many years to come.

I couldn’t wait to be back in the Otherworld with Callie and Des – they are two of my favourite fictional characters and I was desperate to know who their story ends. Dark Harmony was definitely worth the wait. I loved everything about this book – from the first page through to the Epilogue. I raced through it, because I could not bear to put it down. As with the early books, the mystery of the plot and the incredible characters just pull you in – as every bit as dark and enchanting as the Fae denizens of the Otherworld.

Dark Harmony was every bit as incredible as I had hoped! It was a fantastic conclusion to The Bargainer Series. It is darker and more Fae that the earlier books, it was also amazing to get to visit more of the Otherworld and find out more about the Fae that inhabit it. Dark Harmony is, quite simply, perfect! “fairy tales aren’t just full of princes and fair maidens and moonlit weddings. They are full of monsters too. Monsters and violence and terror and death.” For me this quote from Dark Harmony really highlights the essence of this series – and as we all know what is true in fairy tales is also true in life.

I don’t want to discuss plot or events too much, because I really don’t want to spoil anything. I will say that I love that after everything she has been through Callie is still as snarky and humorous as always. I love that we get to read more about her incredible friendship with Temper – I really love Temper so much – I need at least one book about her! The plot is truly incredible, and the threads that Laura Thalassa has woven together come together to create a truly epic ending.

I often recommend The Bargainer Series to, well, anyone who will listen it’s the perfect dark fantasy and I would recommend it to anyone who loves the Fae, fantasy with a dark twist and strong female protagonists who realise that not only do they not need saving, but that perhaps they themselves are the monster to be feared.

This started right where we left off previously and almost instantly we were back in the thick of things and I managed to read this in one sitting I was that engrossed.
Here I really adored Desmond's sadistic glee and pride in Callie's enhanced abilities and twisted nature which is especially amplified since she consumed the lilac wine.
It was like his own personal protege had blossomed overnight and he couldn't be prouder if he tried.
We also got to see much more of Des the fairy trickster in this volume and his wicked sense of mischief was contagious.
I also loved that Callie finally embraces the whole of her nature here and she was also willing to make the choices that needed making she really stepped up and finally came into her own.
I felt like she became who she was always meant to be.
This also had plenty of humour and oodles of passion and managed to wring me out bringing me to actual tears with the events that occurred.
This was everything I had hoped it would be and was a fantastic finale to Desmond and Callies journey.

So this is the final book in this series and I read them all back to back as I was completely hooked! I loved the characters, the plot and the chemistry between the characters was brilliant! Their love story is everything I need in a book, hot and steamy, witty banter and a HEA. I did not want to put this book down I just needed to know what was going to happen next!

I’m definitely going to look for more by this author!

I loved this serie from the very beginning ! And this 3rd book couldn’t ‘be better. I love the chemistry between Des and Callie ! They’re are one of my favourites couples and love story ! Anyone that love a very good fantasy romance will love this series! ❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻!! I devoured this book and now I have every piece of it floating in my mind ! Totally recommend it ! 👏🏻🔝❤️😍👏🏻

I've really enjoyed the premise of this story, but I think I'm perhaps a little too old for it. The language Laura uses is for a much younger audience and I found it really grating after a while.
