An Amazon top 25 best seller.
In the power struggle between two elite groups, one feisty girl will bring them to their knees...
Life is a cruel game, where only the most ruthless survive. It’s a truth my mother rebelled against, and she paid for it with her life. Now, I play their game. Publicly accepting the destiny that lies in wait for me when I turn 18. But behind closed doors, I plot my escape.
Trent, Charlie, and my twin Drew rule the hallways of Rydeville High with arrogance and an iron fist. I execute my role perfectly, hating every second, but they never let me forget my place in this world.
Everyone obeys the rules. They have, for generations. Because, our families have always been in control. Until Cam, Sawyer, and Jackson show up. Throwing their new money around. Challenging the status quo. Setting hearts racing with their gorgeous faces, hot bodies, and bad boy attitudes.
Battle lines are drawn. Sides are taken. And I’m trapped in the middle, because I made a mistake one fateful night when I gave my V-card to a stranger in a blatant F you to my fiancé.
I thought it was the one thing I owned. A precious memory to carry me through each dark day.
I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Because, the stranger was Camden Marshall, leader of the new elite and my perpetual tormentor. He hates me with a passion unrivaled, and he won’t be the only one. Fire will rain down if the truth is revealed, threatening alliances, and the power struggle will turn vicious.
My life will hang in the balance. But I’ll be ready, and I’m not going down without a fight.
Note: Due to mature content and themes, this audiobook is recommended for listeners aged 18 and over. This is a full-length novel, and it's book one in a planned trilogy. It cannot be listened to as a stand-alone and ends with a cliff-hanger.

✒My Review :
Fans of Penelope Douglas' Fall away series here's your new treat :)
Abby is a strong girl ! She takes hits after hits, but she stands for her life.
I have to say at some times I was not okay with the plot. But the end was so good and I was so into the story that's why I give a 4* review. Siobhan Davis did a very good job : I totally forgot the things I didn't like ! I can't wait for book 2 !

It is not romance novel and the characters are completely under developed and un relatable.
The heroine (Abigail) is such a weak resemblance of a female human being and when she does show some sort of bite it is blunt as a tortoise bite. Clearly the author is trying to portray her as some sort of strong willed young woman who wants to break free of the chains of her abusive and controlling father by rebelling against this ridiculous plot of an ever ruling elite society of families of a town but honestly, the way I see it she is driven by hormones and some sort of brain damage.
Clearly if she has money to pay for some computer hacker to dig up dirt on her father, she can afford a bus ticket to disappear.
One chapter portrays her as this defiant wild girl that uses a gun and knows how to beat people to pulp yet in the next she is unable to break a hold of someone holding to her wrist when groping her?
The remaining characters are equally laughable. What is the deal with these abusive men in her life and a school that allows everyone to be so violent and vile to each other?
This was a disturbing read in places when it came to the sexual content and I hope I just accidentally purchased a fetish porn novel without realising because if this was meant to be something with substance it's a major fail.
One good thing? It ended! Albeit on a cliff hanger which frustrated me a little bit given I just wasted all this time and then don't find out what actually happened to her unless I buy the next book... which I won't... Just one more thing to add to the "Reasons why I should read the synopsis before buying them" list.
(Note: Posting under my partners account as that's where this was purchased from, but this is a female perspective in case you were wondering if the wrong demographic got a hold of this so called romance novel)

I loved Abby she has to be one of Siobhan’s strongest characters she’s created yet she’s sassy, smart and a very strong young woman. Abby comes from a world of wealth money and power she’s also a victim she gets no choice in her life and she’s being forced into an arranged marriage to a guy she hates (he’s a complete douche) she hates her life she hates her father she wants to escape at one point she finds it unbearable and she just wants it to end that’s when she meets a handsome stranger Cam he saves her and makes her feel alive again and gives her a night she will hold close to her heart
In Ryderville high the school is run by the old elite Trent, Charlie and Abby’s twin Drew everyone in the school must follow the rules they have set or suffer the consequences! The old elite have to go away on trip leaving Abby in charge making sure the school runs smoothly when the new elite Cam, Sawyer and Jackson which brings a war between the two elites
I loved Cam’s character he’s tough but you do get glimpses of his sweet side he’s suffered loss as a child which he still struggles with. The chemistry between Cam and Abby is off the charts
If you like bully books then this is the one for you there’s plenty of teenage drama with lots of twists and turns along the way to keep you entertained
The book ends in a cliffhanger which has my mind whirling about what’s going to happen next what will become of Abby and Cam??? now we have to wait till August to find out! Seriously can we just skip to August already?
Over all “cruel intentions” is a fantastic fast paced book the characters are strong the chemistry is perfect the book is “flawless”
AN UNFORGETTABLE READ
HIGHLY RECCOMENDED
FIVE STARS

Abby has and still is going through so much with a very cruel and nasty and totally controlling father I really feel for her. Yeah she's done questionable things but I think she's only done them to survive. After the death of there mum her and her twin Drew have a lot to indure with what there father expects and but Abby does not make it easy. She is very feisty and I love that about her but with an arranged marriage on the cards she will not take this lying down and she is determined to find out what all the secret and lies are. Cam is a hot guy but he also has his own agenda and a way if doing things. He is part of the new elite with Sawyer and Jackson and they cause a lot of trouble with the old elite guys Drew, Charlie and Trent and the one thing these guys do do is open up Abby's eyes to what is around her.
I really enjoyed reading this book and I loved all the characters even the secondary ones, I cant wait to see how this series progresses. Abby and Cam have some serious chemistry and the connection they have is undeniable and they cant take there eyes of each other. I was gripped with this book from the very beginning and I couldn't put it down, its a great start to the series and I cant wait to read the second book. This book ends on a cliffhanger I I desperately want to start the #2 ASAP!!If you love bully romances then this series is defiantly for you and I highly recommend this author and this book.

The prologue immediately drew me further into this book and I could not put it down after that. I read it so quickly, that when the second book came out, I had to re-read this one to make sure I had fully taken it in. Unlike some other bully romance novels, the prologue gives you an insight to the hidden depths of Abby & Cam before the bullying elements are really shown, and for me, this made the horrible treatment in later scenes slightly easier to swallow. I know deep down that there will be real feelings between these two eventually, but boy is it going to be a bumpy ride.
This first book introduces each of the complex and despicable characters in a way which has you despising them and the life that Abby leads, while also routing for Abby (who, by the way, is a freaking badass!). The thing I first struggled with is the age of the main characters, this is a High School based story and most of the characters are 17 going on 18 and for an average girl I found it a little difficult to believe their crazy world. This is no ordinary school ground bullying, but in the end I actually think it made for a great dynamic. There are elements where the characters are mature beyond than years because of the world they have grown up in makes it necessary to grow up fast, but there are certainly times when their immaturity shines through and adds a real world element I think the book needs.
I try not to write reviews with spoilers, but I need to advise that Chapter 25 may require a trigger warning for some readers. Without giving too much detail this chapter in particular shows disgusting abuse, physical and mental abuse on Abby. Having already completed the next two books in the series though, I would like to add that if you find you can't get through the scenes in this book, than I don't think the other two books are for you.
In typical Siobhan Davis fashion, there are many twists and turns throughout the story and of course there is an EPIC cliffhanger to leave you wanting more.
Three words to describe the book? Angsty, Dark, More-ish!
