Cotton's Uncle Saul was President of Satan's Fury, when his father died Saul looked out for the family, he knew his mum didn't like Saul, but Cotton did, his son Derek was a different matter, when Derek drugged a girl intending to assault her, Cotton protected her, Derek and his friends beat him badly, he was saved by the police sirens coming closer and they ran. Eventually he joined the club, when the time came Cotton became President. Cass worked the bar at the club and was crazy about Cotton. Cotton kept his distance but then decided to hell with it, they needed to see where things went between them. The club was having trouble, someone was moving in on their territory it needed sorting. So he set off with some others to do this, but then something went terribly wrong

Don't know what the author was doing here but she lost the passion for Cotton & Cass. It's a very tame book. Compare book 2 & 3, Stitch's book is a million times better. 💚🇮🇪

I did enjoy this book but I didn't feel a substantial connection to the main couple. I read some reviews that chastised the hero because of his feelings towards his first love but I didn't feel that way. Cotton IS loyal to Cassidy. He doesn't cheat. He acknowledges how he used to feel for Sara but I never once felt there was any significant present emotion. He is totally in love with Cass and that shines through.
There is some drama, some passion and it left me really wanting to read Clutch's book. So, this was an enjoyable enough book but not one of my favourites.

I loved this book couldn't put it down till I had finished reading it had me sitting on the edge of my seat 🙂 I do recommend that you read Satan's Fury to know more about cotton & big . Got to say when Reece was in the closet with Tate and Riggs got shot my eye's filled up oops said to much 😂 any way it's a must read 👍

Totally enjoying this series. Cass & Cotton were great. Short-ish,sweet & to the point & massive drama,s which I am finding great to read. Def worth a read 👏🔥💖
