The best book comeback EVER.

The last book in this series was written six years ago, so you'd think you'd be able to tell when going into Came Back Haunted.
Except not so much, because Karina Halle is THAT GOOD.
Stepping back into Dex and Perry's story like no time had passed was just what I needed from this series. Yes, the book takes place three years after Dust to Dust (EIT book 9) but that doesn't mean these characters aren't just as in love, just as f**ked up or just as haunted - by real ghosts and the ghosts of their pasts - as they were before. Halle does an excellent job of bringing these two forward in their story with new twists and turns. Plus, we revisit many of the other characters that readers have grown to love throughout these books.
Oh, and the sex is OFF. THE. CHARTS. Like, whoa. Look out.
There's a rumour that Halle isn't finished with this series just yet, and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that I will read anything she decides to write about these two incredible characters. And you should, too. #teamderry

I finished EIT series last year and since then I've been reading other horror romance by Karina to appease the hole the EIT left in me. So when she said she was going to write a new book, I was over the moon! And this book delivered everything that is this series. I loved every moment. I'm so glad I got to see Derry married.
I'm already counting the days for the next book.

Nosso casal Perry voltou, e com isso depois de um tempo com as coisas estarem normais o normal é ter uma vida sem o mundo sobrenatural estar envolvido. Mas o que é bom dura pouco

I just read "The End"... and....My head is a mess. I'm hyperventilating - level max. This book is mind BLOWING- literally -with the biggest (and VERY haunted) L EVER!!!!

Came Back Haunted and whole EIT series is very different from typical Mrs. Halle's romances but it's so good!!! Perry and Dex had complicated history, and in previous books they went thru a lot of things. BUT Love is Love, right?? Their feelings in Came Back Haunted stand strong - they are still my fave Derry duo with all the weirdness, humor and snark... And I can assure every reader - Mrs. Halle mixed perfectly their love life with everything what is, happening in this book. AND IT'S HAPPENING A LOT!!!! Every paige is loaded in ALL. THE. FEELS and action. This book is truly one and only experience like any other!

I just have one tiny problem I cannot decide IF I want to scream on author, or hug Her the strongest I can. Why??? Because undeniably She wrote a masterpiece, but made me feel s scared - I just cannot even, You guys... I'm telling You!!! There were the moments when I wanted to hide under the blanket, and it was midday when I was reading Came Back Haunted.

One time I wrote that reading EIT series is like watching the scariest (and the best) Hollywood show... WELL I WAS WRONG! Came Back Haunted was definitely not just "watching" - IT was like co-starting with Derry duo.... and like all the ghosts and demons marched into my real life.

Came Back Haunted is PHENOMENAL !!! One Click when You only can!!!!
