Praise for the Stockholm Murders Series
Behind Blue Eyes by C.S. Duffy is the first instalment of the Stockholm Murders Book series and its one helluva start! I've not read any of C.S. Duffy's previous works but now I think I must get started on that list. I found this book to be fast-paced, suspenseful and ultimately very unputdownable. I finished this in one day because I really needed to get the bottom of this gripping whodunnit. - Samantha G, Reader Review
Well, well, well this book makes for a rollercoaster of a ride. This book throws you around like washing in a tumble dryer. Throwing twist and turns at you until right at the very end. When the author is ready to lay out what has exactly been happening in this book and then boom everything makes sense. Wonderful. - Karen W, Reader Review
It's thrilling, thought-provoking, lively and tense. Ellie's decidedly British humour breaks down the tension only for it to be ramped up seconds later. Connecting all the dots reveals a much bigger crime than originally suggested, and the suspects seem to be everywhere. It will keep you hooked right to the end. I'm looking forward to the next book now, and this is a new author for me to follow. - Lynne F, Reader Review
A woman accused.
The vigilante mob gathers.
But are they targeting the right woman?
Investigative reporter Ellie James is picking up the pieces of her relationship with Johan after she revealed that one of his best friends was a serial killer, when bodies start showing up around Stockholm. Frozen solid, posed standing like statues, the police are baffled.
A woman is accused of the murders and Ellie must unravel the real mystery below the surface before someone she loves is lost for good.
Don't miss the spellbinding follow up to Behind Blue Eyes!
Duffy is one of my favourite crime thriller authors because I know her refreshingly funny approach to an otherwise dark genre will keep me hooked, all of her characters have the complexity that I look for in any kind of story. - Nia Ireland, The Most Sublime blog

But when the lorry driver is found murdered the next morning, secrets from Cait’s past come back to haunt her. Only two people know what happened that night, and one of them didn’t live to tell the tale…
Former DCI Cara Boyle, escaping her own problems in the sleepy fishing village, is the only person Cait can turn to for help. But as Alec McAvoy’s trial gets underway in Glasgow, can Cara trust her own gut any more?

He’s been killing for hundreds of years.
But he reckoned without her.
Kirsty has always been alone.
It’s fine. It’s what she’s chosen. People, as a general rule, are more trouble than they’re worth. It’s why batteries were invented.
But when she comes across the man being burned alive on the banks of the Clyde, she can’t just let him die. Without a second thought she batters in to save his life…
And accidentally tears the fabric of time.
Now an ancient serial killer is on the loose and only Kirsty can make him regret he was ever born.
Even if it means killing the only person who ever loved her.
Sometimes she can bloody well see all these magic destiny shenanigans far enough.
The twisty, laugh out loud funny start to a seductive fantasy series. Buffy meets Outlander with a side order of Taggart. If you like fast-paced action, Glasgow humour and women who take no prisoners, you’ll love Before Again.
“Glasgow humour, magic and amazing female characters - what’s not to love?!!” - reader review

What if you were closing in on a serial killer…
… when the serial killer closes in on you?
Ruari is trapped in the cellar, gravely wounded and desperately trying to believe that the person he thought he saw just before he passed out was a hallucination.
A deeply satisfying page turner that progresses the story in ways you could never have guessed.- 5* review
How do you escape a past that won’t stay buried?
Stuart Henderson is on the loose and Alec McAvoy is still unconscious - but there is a killer just getting started. After Ruari makes a gruesome discovery in a tunnel deep in the bowels of Glasgow, the team realise that if they don’t cut this reign of terror off at the source it will never end.
But as they work to uncover who - or what- the Darkness is, Amy is starting to face the stunning possibility that Stuart could be innocent. Has she uncovered a horrifying miscarriage of justice or is she falling under Charlie’s spell?
How do you survive a fate worse than murder?
Jade is supposed to be dead.
She fought off the killer and escaped, and for two years has been trapped in a half-life, with no conscious memory of what happened or who attacked her, but plagued by debilitating flashbacks. Now a killer is targeting athletic young men in Glasgow, and when a friend of Jade’s is murdered she can’t shake the feeling it was because of her.
She turns to Dr. Amy Kerr for help, but as they begin to untangle the tortured knots in Jade’s mind, Amy begins to realise that the killer who attacked Jade is someone Amy knows all too well.
Someone who was never supposed to be free again.
Someone who is watching them.
What if the killer is dead…
… but victims are still appearing?
Amy is in prison, Greer obsessed with unravelling Lorna’s final days, and Cara has her hands full trying to stay one step ahead of the killer.
Alec McAvoy has taken Ruari under his wing, but Ruari’s old demons resurface as he begins to realise that he cannot trust his own mind…
But it surely can't end there! Thoroughly recommended with excellent twists and turns and characters that keep you guessing - 5* reader review
