She's on a scholarship to attend Blackthorn. And had no idea that Warren was there too.

Warren bullies Harper in everyway he can to make her life unbearable for what she did to him, to the point of him destroying her, like she did.
She knows it's Warren's doings behind things getting done to her to leave Blackthorn.
But when he finds out these things that wasn't him, he's determined to find out who's responsible for messing with what's his.
Who else is behind these things?
How does the truth come out?
How does that make them feel?

A fast paced, angsty, dark read.
This can be read as a standalone.

This is the second book in the Blackthorn Academy series and boy this was another excellent read. Warren and Harper really had a hard time and I would recommend you read the first book in this series first, although it is not necessary. A very good storyline and really good characters. This is another very enjoyable read from these talented authors. Look forward to reading the next book.

I've never read this style book and this story got me so emotional. Warren and Harper are 2 ships meeting and crashing. He was so mean to her and then changed. She is one tough woman. She wasn't going to let him knock her down.

If people would just talk. So much could have been avoided between Harper and Warren if they just talked. Instead he went into bully mode, shut down when the past comes back. No matter how much he might hate her for what he thinks she did, it doesn't stop him from wanting her in every conceivable way. No one else call even look or talk to her. Controlling to extremes. Possessive. But at the same time, he cares. Too much so at times.

Harper pretty innocent victim here. She's and Warren had a past and when she meets him again after three years, it's not the same guy she fell in love with. Doesn't stop her from wanting him though. Even when he bullies her from their first meeting, she wants him. He may be possessive and controlling, but he keeps her safe too.

Sometimes you wonder if there's anything redeeming about Warren then you get these little glimpses of maybe who he used to be. Before everything got crazy. Harper can appear weak at times, but she's really not. You see a strength in her. The helps daughter and the golden boy. Opposites I guess. This series is getting better and better as we go and I can't wait for more.
